基于将不同电磁超材料特性结合应用的思想,设计了一种具有电磁波吸收特性的开口谐振环(Wave-Absorbing Split Ring Resonator,WASRR)。WASRR由传统开口谐振环(SRR)在开口处加载集总电阻构成,结合了雷达吸波材料(Radar Absorbing Material,RAM)的吸波特性和SRR的电磁带隙(Electromagnetic Band Gap,EBG)特性,能够在吸收入射电磁波的同时切断在介质基底中传播的表面波。WASRR应用于贴片天线之后,使得天线的增益最大提高了3.9d B,同时天线的RCS得到了最大14.1d B的减缩。
Based on the idea of using different electromagnetic metamaterials in combination, a Wave-Absorbing Split Ring Resonator (WASRR) with electromagnetic wave absorption was designed. The WASRR consists of a traditional open-ended resonant ring (SRR) loaded with lumped resistance at the opening. The WASRR incorporates the absorption characteristics of the Radar Absorbing Material (RAM) and the Electromagnetic Band Gap (EBG) characteristics of the SRR , It is possible to cut off the surface wave propagating in the dielectric substrate while absorbing the incident electromagnetic wave. After WASRR is applied to the patch antenna, the gain of the antenna is increased by 3.9 dB at maximum, and the antenna RCS is reduced by a maximum of 14.1 dB.
