　　Objective In humans,experiencing drugs of abuse during adolescence increases the risk of psychiatric disorders and drug addiction in adulthood.Adolescence represents a critical period for maturation of hippocampus,and adolescent hippocampus is more sensitive to neurobiological changes induced by internal or external stimuli,such as cocaine abuse.
