Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) quaternary semi conductor has attracted much attention recently because of its low toxicity, optimal direct band gap (1.5ev) and high coefficient.Here, kesterite CZTS nanocrystals (NCs) were synthesized by a facial one-pot method under insert atmosphere.The influences of reaction conditions, including the type of ligands, reaction temperature and time, on the structure and optical properties of NCs were discussed in detail.These samples were investigated by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscope, transmission electron microscope (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and UV-vis absorption spectrum.The results indicated that the CZTS NCs with good monodispersity have been synthesized using suitable reaction conditions, which has a very promising application prospect in low-cost solar cells.
