Recently,tripositive rare-earth (RE3+) ions doped upconverting fluoride nanocrystals(NCs) have become an increasingly research topic and opened up the opportunity for creating new applications in diverse fields such as light emitting displays,biological labeling and imaging,owing to their distinct electrical,optical and magnetic properties.Particularly,monodisperse and uniform Ln3+ ions doped fluoride NCs with core/shell structure are highly desired in view of the notably enhanced upconversion efficiency of Ln3+in comparison withtheir core only counterparts.
