We identified a variant of C-terminal-truncated Aldo-keto Reductase Family 1 Member C1-like (AKR1C1-like) during analysis of pig liver transcriptome.Compared with wild type AKR1C1-like,the variant deleted 18 amino acid residues,R320 to L337,in the C-terminus due to a single nucleotide mutation,converting nonsense mutation,R320stop,according to a non-synonymous single nucleotide polymorphism (ns SNP;C958T).
