High density,well ordered,vertically aligned and uniform titanium oxide nanotube arrays were fabricated on the surface of pure titanium sheet by direct electrochemical anodic oxidation with 0.5(w)%NaF+1mol/ L Na2SO4 being the supporting electrolyte under 20V,after two hours TiO2 nanotubes were about 2μm.Then,Pt was doped on nanotube by cathodic depositon process in electrolyte of 6 g/L H2PtCl6+0.1 mol/L HCl at temperature of 70℃ for 5 minutes.the servicelife of the Pt modified Ti/TiO2 electrode was increased,which Pt modified Ti/TiO2 with 5min electrode was twice longer than that of Ti/Pt electrode as characterized by the measurement of the fast oxygen release of the electrodes.
