Tokamak is a fusion reactor which has been world-widely researched for the future energy generation.Superconducting magnet system is a key component to make it possible to realize the tokamak.Korea Advanced Superconducting Tokamak Research (KSTAR) is a fully superconducting tokamak, which has been operated for 8 years.A key instrumentation to guarantee a stable operation of the superconducting magnet system is Quench Detection System (QDS).A couple of QD methods were adopted such as temperature, pressure, and voltages.
