In this paper, the stability analysis of a continuous-time swarm model with nonlinear dynamics is investigated.It is found that all agents in a swarm can reach cohesion within a finite time under some assumptions, where the upperbounds of the cohesion depend on the parameters of the swarm model. These results are then further generalized to theswarm models with switches between different nonlinear profiles. Finally, simulation results are presented to verify thetheoretical analysis in this paper.
