Zeolitic imidazolate frameworks(ZIFs),a sub-family of MOFs,are highly ordered porous solids, which consist of inorganicmetal ions in tetrahedral environments bridged by imidazolate ligands.Owing to their high porosity, large surface area and better stability,ZIFs will provide great potential as hosts for various metal nanoparticles(MNPs)[1].
