The separation and analysis of nucleic acids and proteins using gel electrophoresis and membrane transfer is a longtime cornerstone of molecular biology research.The recent development of dry,or ‘bufferless’,electrophoresis has opened new horizons for researchers routinely running these analysis tools.Using this novel technology,we have been able in Invitrogen to develop new applications which can dramatically facilitate the cycle of research and diagnostics in the laboratory.
