  In the last decade, the biosynthesis of nanocomposites, as a representative intersection of nanotechnology and biotechnology, has received increasing attention due to the growing need to develop environmentally benign technologies in material syntheses.A general method for the preparation of metal nanocomposites involves the treatment of metal salts with a chemical reducing agent, such as citrate acid, borohydride, or other organic compounds.These reducing agents may have associated environmental toxicity or biological hazards.
