Objective:To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of Yifei-decoction combined with gefitinib against advanced stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), which to provide evidence for the therapy of NSCLC with Chinese traditional medicine associate targeted drug, and to offer experience for further lucubrate.Methods:This study deploy randomized controlled way, a sum total 60 NSCLC patients who were coincide with diagnose and the standard were randomly assigned into the treatment group or the control group. Both groups treat with taken orally gefitinib (250mg qd) 2 months continuously. While the 30 patients in the treatment group combined treatment with Yifei-decoction, and these two groups all can received supportive treatment but other anticancer therapy. We observed the size of tumor, quality of life, safety and status of other changes primarily.Results:1. The two groups’score of remission of tumor size after therapy were improved; While the score of tumor size from the treatment group was no diffient from the control group (P>0.05).2. After the therapy, the score of quality of life from these two groups were improved than before (P<0.05); The score of the treatment group was higher than the control group (P＜0.05).3. To compared with before therapy, the score of clinical symptoms of two groups were improved after the therapy (P<0.05); The result of the treatment group was better than the control group (P<0.05).4. To compared with the control group, the adverse reaction of the treatment group was alleviated (P<0.05).Conclusion:The result of this study indicated that to treat patients with NSCLC by used the Yifei-decoction combined with gefitinib could improve the quality of life and could decrease the adverse reaction, and this treatment has superior therapeutic effect and tolerance, while it was worthy of promotion.
