The proverb is a language knowledge handed down from ancient people who combine their life experience, wisdom and feelings, which are showed in their language through many ages. Therefore, proverbs mirror people’ s outlook on life and world. In the other words, they are the lessons draw from their life.As proverbs mirror people’ s outlook on life and world in different countries and periods. Hence the researching on proverbs is very important in studying other ethnics. In a word, proverbs that take root in people’ s life are used widespreadly, which become the important materials in studying other counties’ culture, history, thinking, literature, religion and custom.Japan and Korea have close reliotship in history and geographical position. Through studying on comparative researching, we can study the cultural characteristics of the two countries.Besides the proverbs about human, there are some about animals and nature. The whole comparative researching is a difficult and complex work. Therefore, the paper focus on some proverbs on female, which from the view of society and culture and compares the status and situation of female in old time. The paper also studys the different and same points on culture and analyzes the reasons.In order to analyze some proverbs about female, the paper bases on dictionary, and gets 583 proverbs on female, which are written in appendix, as the limited space.The paper analyzes the status and influence of female through studying proverbs. Then we get that most of statements on female are negative and limited, except some about mother and children..With the development of society, the status of female changes a lot gradually. However, the phenomenon that still exists around us can not be avoided, and the deep-rooted thinking can not disappears overnight. Through the studying proverbs on female, we can do something for female researching. Moreover, we want to make people know the new goal that modern female intend to be independent in economy and realize their sel-value.
