Chopin .Frederic(1810-1849), the Slva musical genius, was famous for his romantic musical style and the national character, which made him not only the representative of the European romantic musician of nineteenth century, but also the pioneer of the East European School of music of that century . Although his life was short, he had left us a great number of art treasure. All of these deserve our earnest research, study and use for reference. From the perspective of art, this thesis will discuss and do research on Chopin’s life, the subject matter and forms of Chopin’s piano air works , the artistic features of the melody and the harmony , the artistic features of set to musical instruments , the artistic features of the style of his programmer music . From the discussion and research , we can deeply realize that all these works have the style and feature of Chopin’s music and at the same time have their own respective special feature . The author hopes the research of some of Chopin’s piano air works will enable people to draw a better experience on Chopin’s piano air works when having the reform of piano education and the research on piano air works in our new times.
