C4植物有“CO2泵”浓缩机制,在高温,强光,干旱等逆境条件下,具有高的光合效率和生物学产量。通过基因工程技术,将C4途径关键酶基因转入C3作物,有利于提高C3植物光合效率,增强对高温、干旱等恶劣环境的适应,提高产量。本研究通过比较了C4与C3作物,双子叶与单子叶植物的光合特性,通过Southern blot明确了C4途径关键酶PEPC基因在双子叶C4植物籽粒苋基因组中的拷贝数,构建了籽粒苋PEPC基因和另一个C4途径关键酶NAD-ME基因的原核表达载体,并且这2个基因在Transetta (DE3
