马鞭草为马鞭草属植物马鞭草Verbena officinalis L.的地上部分。植物资源丰富,分布于全国各地。 作者从马鞭草乙醇提取物中,经溶剂分步萃取,反复硅胶柱色谱等方法得到11个化合物,通过理化常数测定和光谱数据分析等手段鉴定了其化学结构。这些化合物分别为:ursolic acid lactone,2α,3β,23-trihydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic-acid,tormentic acid,euscaphic acid,1,3,5,6-tetrahydroxy-4,7,8-tri(3-methyl-2-butenyl)xanthone,garciniaxanthone E,1,2,6-trihydroxy-5-methoxy-7-(3-methyl-2-butenyl)xanthone,4,9-dihydroxy-8-methoxy-α-lapachone,gelscmiol 6’-trans-oaffeoyl-1-glucoside,9-hydroxysemperoside,verbenalin。其中1,3,5,6-tetrahydroxy-4,7,8-tri(3-methyl-2-butenyl)xanthone,garciniaxanthone E,1,2,6-trihydroxy-5-methoxy-7-(3-methyl-2-butenyl) xanthone,4,9-dihydroxy-8-methoxy-α-lapachone,gelsemiol 6’-trans-caffeoyl-1-glucoside,9-hydroxysemperoside为首次报道从马鞭草中分离到的化合物。 对所得化合物,利用PC12D细胞(a subline of rat phcochromocytoma cells)进行了增强脑神经成长因子作用的生物活性检验,结果表明ursolic acid lactone、1,3,5,6-tetrahydroxy-4,7,8-tri(3-methyl-2-butenyl)xanthone、garciniaxanthone E、4,9-dihydroxy-8-methoxy-α-lapachone等具有极强的增强NGF作用的药理活性。
