Structure of export products has changed dramatically. At the same time, FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) also had a great development in China. On the one hand is the rapid optimization of Chinas export structure; on the other hand is huge amount of FDI inflow. Does FDI play an active role in optimizing the structure of Chinas export structure; are there still any problems in Chinas export structure and how will Chinas export enterprises to improve the level and efficiency of utilizing FDI to further optimize the export structure. Its worthwhile for us to explore these problems carefully.
In this paper, I firstly had an overview of Chinas FDI inflow and export structure. Then I took theoretical and empirical analysis on the impact of FDI on Chinas export structure. In the end, I introduced the main findings in optimizing export structure by utilizing of FDI and put forward the corresponding suggestions.
