从开始进行英语教学之初,就知道单词是英语教学中极其重要的一部分,但单词的记忆以及掌握又是一道无法避免的难题。究其原因就是因为我们传统的英语教学忽略了单词与语言本身的整体性,盲目地背诵单词而不是通过灵活的应用认识单词,会使得人脑习惯短时间记忆而无法真正接收单词的意义。有的教师喜欢用词汇量的大小来评判一个学生对英语的熟练程度,但我们通过多年的教学经验以及研究调查发现:数量与质量完全是两码事,寻求新的可持续发展的英语教学方法才是当务之急。
From the beginning of English teaching, we know that words are an extremely important part of English teaching, but the memory and mastery of words are an unavoidable problem. The reason is because our traditional English teaching ignores the integrity of words and language itself, blindly memorizing words rather than recognizing words through flexible application makes the human mind short-term memory and can not really receive the meaning of words. Some teachers like to use the size of the vocabulary to judge a student’s proficiency in English, but we have found through many years of teaching experience and research that quantity and quality are totally different. The way to find new sustainable teaching methods in English is Top priority.
