黨的七屆四中全會决議發出以後,黨的各級幹部已先後開始進行學習,並聯系檢查了自己的思想、言論和行動。在這次學習中.對黨內的一切不利於黨的團結的思想作風,特別是由於工作獲得若干成績而滋長起來的驕傲情緒,由於誇大個人作用而產生的個人突出、個人崇拜,以至把自己所領導的部門和地區當成個人資本和獨立王國等錯誤傾向,都進行了嚴格的揭發和批判,使各級幹部、特別是黨的高級幹部受到教育而更加警惕起來和更加清醒起來,為增强黨的團結而奮鬥。但這决不是說損害黨的團結的一切缺點已經完全克服了,今後再也不會發生了。實際上,不但目前沒有完全克服,而且今後也還有可能繼續發生。因此,全黨必須進一步學習四中全會决議,繼續努力增强黨的團結。

However, this in no way means that all the drawbacks that undermine the unity of the party have been completely overcome and will never happen again. In fact, not only has not been completely overcome at present but it is still likely to continue in the future. Therefore, the entire party must further study the resolution of the Fourth Plenary Session and continue its efforts to strengthen the party’s unity.
