生态美学产生于后现代语境之下,同现代科学技术、西方现代哲学思想以及现代深层生态学等的发展密切相关。生态美学兴起的主要原因在于现代化所造成的环境污染、臭氧层消失、温室效应、物种灭绝、核战争威胁、工具理性泛滥、心理疾患蔓延等人类生存状态的恶化。而作为现代科技发展重要标志之一的电视的出现和极度扩张,则进一步加剧了这一趋势。
Ecology aesthetics originated in the postmodern context and is closely related to the development of modern science and technology, western modern philosophy and modern deep ecology. The main reason for the rise of ecological aesthetics lies in the deterioration of human existence caused by the environmental pollution caused by modernization, the disappearance of the ozone layer, the greenhouse effect, the extinction of species, the threat of nuclear war, the proliferation of instrumental rationality and the spread of psychological disorders. The emergence and extreme expansion of television as one of the important symbols of the development of modern science and technology have further aggravated this trend.
