目的 :探讨甲状腺癌及癌旁甲状腺组织中端粒酶活性的相关性。方法 :用原位杂交法检测了 2 0例甲状腺乳头状癌、2 0例甲状腺滤泡状癌及 2 0例相应癌旁甲状腺组织端粒酶逆转录酶 ( TERT)亚基的 m RNA。结果 :2 0例甲状腺乳头状癌阳性检出率为 90 % ,2 0例甲状腺滤泡状癌阳性检出率为 85 % ,2 0例癌旁组织端粒酶检测均为阴性。端粒酶活性与甲状腺癌的类型、分化程度及分期无关。结论 :端粒酶活化在甲状腺癌的发生过程中起重要作用。端粒酶可以作为一种有效的恶性肿瘤标记物用于甲状腺癌的诊断
Objective: To investigate the relationship between telomerase activity in thyroid carcinoma and adjacent normal thyroid tissue. Methods: In situ hybridization was used to detect telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) subunit mRNA in 20 thyroid papillary carcinomas, 20 thyroid follicular carcinomas and 20 parathyroid carcinomas. Results: The positive rate of papillary thyroid carcinoma in 20 cases was 90%, the positive rate of thyroid follicular carcinoma in 20 cases was 85%, and the telomerase in 20 cases was negative. Telomerase activity has nothing to do with the type, differentiation and stage of thyroid cancer. Conclusion: Telomerase activation plays an important role in the carcinogenesis of thyroid carcinoma. Telomerase can be used as an effective marker for the diagnosis of thyroid cancer
