据有关专家学者统计,地球上每两个星期就有一种语言消失,不亚于物种消亡的速度。中国是一个多民族、多语言和多方言的国家,多数民族和地域都有自己的语言和方言,语言的主体地位在某种程度上破坏了语言的多样性。笔者通过对方言衰退的原因和保护语言多样性的重要意义的分析,认为在充分发挥语言主体作用的同时,一定要尊重语言的多样性,积极保护方言和民族语言。
According to relevant experts and scholars statistics, every two weeks on Earth there is a language disappeared, no less than the speed of the demise of species. China is a multi-ethnic, multilingual and multi-dialect country. Most ethnic groups and regions have their own languages and dialects. The dominant position of language has destroyed the diversity of languages to a certain extent. By analyzing the reasons for the decline of dialects and the importance of protecting linguistic diversity, the author believes that while giving full play to the role of language, we must respect the diversity of languages and actively protect dialects and national languages.
