鼻窦腔要形成蓄脓,其中细菌须具有在特殊物理、生化环境下繁殖及抵抗宿主局部防御机制的能力,本文在这两方面讨论蓄脓的原理。窦口阻塞不仅使分泌物引流不畅,而且影响窦内气体成分,此时氧被吸收,有利于细菌的生长。作者分别将含有血清性分泌物及脓性分泌物的上颌窦作了O_2张力、CO_2张力、细菌数及炎性细胞数的测定。发现血清性窦腔内O_2张力降低、CO_2积聚,而脓性窦腔的O_2含量为零或近于零、CO_2明显积聚。血清性分泌物半数不生长细菌,半数以肺炎链球菌占优势,未分离出厌氧
