报业正面临前所未有的挑战和发展困境早已经是不争的事实。如何摆脱困境,报纸可谓各出奇招。对一些报纸而言,与零售商的成功合作已经帮助他们在激烈的竞争中脱颖而出。美国报业协会一年一度的“托尼·米尼尔特销售大奖”就是专门用于奖励达成良好合作关系,并使得报纸销量大增的零售商和相关报纸的。该奖项每年都会按照下列类别进行评选,包括:便利店、杂货店、药店、大型购物中心和酒店以及其它非传统的零售终端等。今年,该奖项颁发给了4家零售商及相关报纸。而他们各自的合作和促销方式也是五花八门。
It is already an indisputable fact that the newspaper industry is facing unprecedented challenges and difficulties in development. How to get out of the dilemma, the newspapers can be described as surprising. For some newspapers, the successful cooperation with retailers has helped them to stand out in the fierce competition. The annual press briefing by the American Press Association is dedicated to retailers and related newspapers that reward good partnerships and drive substantial newspaper sales. Each year, the awards are selected according to the following categories: convenience stores, grocery stores, pharmacies, shopping malls and hotels, and other non-traditional retail terminals. This year, the award was presented to four retailers and related newspapers. And their respective ways of cooperation and promotion are varied.
