俄罗斯新式头盔SKAT-2DT以双基聚酰胺聚合纤维为主料,添加了陶瓷纤维和聚烯烃填料,比等质量的钢板防弹能力高5倍,而且除了防弹性能高之外,还具有隔热、阻燃的特性。新式头盔材料由于可塑性好,便于优化结构设计,有利于保证加工的一致性。这种材料巳于2003年取得俄罗斯联邦专利。
