演绎法,是从一般原理出发推出个别新知识的推理方法,是一种依三段论之接二连三的探讨技巧,一种典型的推论方式。具体到设计上,它是从设计的发生、综合、发展的过程中,由构思顺思考的论理向形态追求的方法。它往往能将一个瞬间闪现的灵感类推发展成为设计意象直至设计概念,再通过运用独特的手法,经营独特的建筑语汇,使概念成形,物化为建筑形态,并使之呈现动人的风采,至此完成为一个成熟的建筑设计方案。赖特曾说过:“我喜欢抓住一个想法,戏弄之,直至最后成为一个诗意的环境。”这句话中就包含着演绎法的思想。
