1999年中国彻底宣布进入了老龄化社会,老龄人口的数量呈持续上升状态,中国的人口年龄结构发生了变化。老年受众所占的比例大幅度增加,也相应的引起了大众传媒的受众群体年龄结构的变化。然而,在收视率为王的大传媒环境下,电视台往往倾向于制作能涵盖多年龄层的大众化电视节目,这就导致老年受众的收视需求得不到满足,退休后的生活质量得不到提高。面对着日益增加的老年人口数量,电视媒体应该及时认清形势,明确自身责任,以满足老年受众的收视需求为中心追求。在此背景下,本文将探析老龄化进程中老年电视节目的现状、存在的问题以及制约因素,从而为老年电视节目的发展提出建设性的意见和建议,来切实帮助老年朋友融入社会,共同推动建设和谐美好的老龄化社会。
