关于音乐的起源,古今中外观点各异,对其评论也莫衷一是,其中不乏真知灼见,然仍旧存在不得要领之处。本文从认知科学五大层级理论中的语言认知出发,将西方时下较流行的音乐起源论分为语言、人类与动物这三个层面,对各领域中不同学说的关联进行比较分析。事实上,关于音乐起源的问题,既不可轻信于一家之言,也不必将此话题视为敏感地带,有意避之或闭口不言。而应该在众说纷纭中理出一条脉络,在既定的话语体制下探讨。音乐起源的问题,应视为一个兼容并蓄、杂糅共生的聚合体,放在更大的背景语境中,接受多重维度的审视。
With regard to the origin of music, ancient and modern Chinese and foreign viewpoints vary, and its commentaries are unchallenged. Many of them are very insightful, but there are still unbearable places. Based on the cognitive cognition in the five levels of cognitive science, this article divides the most popular music etymology in the West into three levels: language, human and animal, and makes a comparative analysis of the correlation between different theories in various fields. In fact, the issue of the origin of music can neither be credulous in one’s speech nor take the topic as a sensitive area, and it is intended to avoid or silence it. Instead, we should try to find a context in the various opinions and discuss it under the established discourse system. The issue of the origin of music should be regarded as an inclusive, hybrid and symbiotic assemblage, which is placed in a larger context and examined in multiple dimensions.
