日本H-Ⅰ火箭液氧-液氢发动机液氢涡轮泵要求使用新型自润滑式滚珠轴承(角接触式,内径25毫米)。在改进机械结构和用层压玻璃布(聚四氟乙烯粘接剂)制成保持架的基础上,研制了一种新型轴承。这种轴承在运转中,由于玻璃纤维刺穿聚四氟乙烯层,轴承外座圈多次出现温度突升现象。为了消除玻璃纤维突出物,研制了氢氟酸化学处理方法;同时为改善聚四氟乙烯层的附着性,还研制了射频溅散喷涂法。不仅在 H-Ⅰ火箭 LE-5发动机中使用了新研制的轴承,而且还计划在 H-Ⅱ火箭 LE-7发动机中使用这种轴承。
Japan H-I rocket liquid oxygen-liquid hydrogen liquid turbo pump requires the use of new self-lubricating ball bearings (angular contact, diameter 25 mm). The newly developed bearings are used not only in the H-I rocket LE-5 engine, but also in the H-II rocket LE-7 engine.
