１９９６、１９９７年我省相继在珠海、东莞菜田发现粉虱为害豆类蔬菜。１９９８年５月开始，东莞横沥镇种植的丝瓜、豆角受害严重，形成点片枯萎，引起菜农和当地植保部门的重视。据我们普查及经中国农科院蔬菜所朱国仁研究员鉴定，这种粉虱叫烟粉虱Ｂｅｍｉｓｉａｔａｂａｃ?
