配方施肥是通过对土壤各种速效养分的测定,有针对性的给出配方,来指导农民科学施肥,是一种以最少的肥料投入得到最高产量、最优质量的农业新技术。我们知道各种肥料的有效养分含量不同,各种果树或作物对肥料的需求不同,各种肥料施入土壤后当季利用率不同,各种土壤中速效养分含量也不同等等。只凭经验施肥,就可能产生三种后果,一是施肥数量超过植物所需要的数量,白白增加了投入,造成肥料和人力的浪费;二是该施的肥没有施够数量,造成果实品质下降,产量降低;三是不该施的肥料却施下去了,这样既增加了投入,还会造成土壤中养分失调,对植物产生不良影响。
