在放射治疗中,由于停机或其它原因常被迫停止照射,停照期间,肿瘤细胞的修复和增殖,造成剂量生物效应的衰减。但晚期反应组织增殖缓慢,一般大于6个月,因此正常组织的晚期放射反应几乎不存在相对于照射期间的剂量生物效应的衰减。对此,TDF的剂量衰减公式已不再适用。 为了克服肿瘤细胞的增殖效应,应该在至少不延长总治疗时间的前提下补量。这里仅讨论外照射时的情况。在补量时,主要考虑晚期正常组织的耐受量,以补到具有相同晚期反应所需的剂量为限。在重新计算剂最时暂时可使用不带休积修正的L-Q模型作为参考。公式如下:
