[编者按]邓小平同志在1991年初视察上海时曾敏锐地指出：“金融很重要，是现代经济的核心。金融搞好了，一着棋活，全盘皆活。上海过去是金融中心，是货币自由兑换的地方，今后也要这样搞中国在金融方面取得闪际地位，首先要靠上海；那要许多年后，但现在就要做起。”可以告慰
[Editor’s note] Comrade Deng Xiaoping inspected Shanghai in early 1991 when he pointedly pointed out: “Finance is very important and is the core of the modern economy. Finance has gone well and everything has been done. Shanghai used to be a financial center and a currency In places that are freely convertible, we must do so in the future so that China can obtain a glitz status in finance. It depends on Shanghai first; it will take many years, but now it must be started. ”
