冷战时期,美国学术界对中苏珍宝岛武装冲突的起因、过程、性质和影响均作了一定的研究。而冷战结束后,随着新资料的不断挖掘,美国学术界对这些问题则作了更全面更深入的研究,学者们除坚持冷战时期的一些看法以外,还提出一些新观点,或作了一些新分析,从而使得后冷战时期美国学术界在中苏珍宝岛武装冲突的研究方面取得一些新进展。美国学术界的这些探讨对当今中国学者进一步研究这一课题具有一定的参考价值。
During the Cold War, the academic circles of the United States made some research on the causes, process, nature and impact of the armed conflicts between China and Sudan. After the end of the Cold War, with the constant excavation of new materials, the academic circles in the United States made more comprehensive and in-depth studies on these issues. Apart from insisting on some observations of the Cold War era, scholars also put forward some new ideas or made some New analysis, so that the United States academic circles made some new progress in the research on Armed Conflict between China and Sudan in the post-Cold War era. These discussions in American academia are of some reference value for the further study of this subject by Chinese scholars today.
