莫友芝(1811—1871),字子偲,自号郘亭,又号紫泉、眲叟,贵州独山人。其父莫与俦做过翰林院庶吉士、受教于纪昀、阮元等汉学宗师,友芝幼承庭训,很早便以学问渊博、并与郑珍合撰《遵义府志》而名震西南;友芝多才多艺,当世颇以诗名,其诗歌锻造精工,并每于其中夹杂或夹注考证文字,被视为宋诗派或学人之诗;版本目录学和书法亦令人称道(《郘亭知见传本书目》宣统元年始出,即售到每部六两,民国二年,每部更达十六金重价;他独标高格、颇带
