据路透社报道,经济合作与发展组织(OECD)近日发表声明,预测世界钢铁市场今明两年的旺盛状况将持续,生产能力将继续扩大,并敦促钢铁产业进行重组。2004年世界钢铁生产能力首次突破了10亿吨,达11.8亿吨。预计到2006年世界钢铁生产能力将扩大到13亿吨,并且今明两年将持续增长。与此同时,2004年中国的钢铁生产能力增加22.5%,达到了2.7亿吨,而今年,据 OECD 预测,中国的钢铁生产能力将达到3.4亿吨,占世界总产量的30%。去年,世界钢铁的消费量达9.35亿吨,比前年增加8.8%。而据 OECD 预测,2005年中国的钢铁需求有可能在原先预测的10.7%的基础上再增加5%。
According to a Reuters report, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) recently issued a statement predicting that the global steel market will continue its vigorous performance this year and next two years, its production capacity will continue to expand, and the steel industry will be urged to restructure. In 2004, the world’s steel production capacity exceeded 1 billion tons for the first time, reaching 1.18 billion tons. It is estimated that the world’s steel production capacity will expand to 1.3 billion tons by 2006 and will continue to grow in the next two years. Meanwhile, China’s steel production capacity increased by 22.5% in 2004 to 270 million tons. This year, according to OECD’s forecast, China’s steel production capacity will reach 340 million tons, accounting for 30% of the world’s total output. Last year, the world’s steel consumption reached 935 million tons, an increase of 8.8% over the previous year. According to the OECD’s forecast, China’s steel demand in 2005 may increase another 5% from the previous forecast of 10.7%.
