新课程改革的持续推进,带来了农村小学的气象更新。新教材的投入成为了课程改革的重要内容,在知识创新和时代变迁的形势下,农村小学教师在适应全新教材时的矛盾、冲突逐渐升级。农村小学教师教材适应困境主要表现在对新教材的理念、自身的适应态度和能力、对新教材的处理方式等方面难以进行有效地调节,进而致使农村小学教师在面对实践教学时充满了困惑和无助,对教学质量的提高产生了较大影响。从农村生活的实际出发,完善农村小学特色教材建设;从教师专业发展角度出发,推动师资队伍体系式发展;从农村小学生的特点出发,建构教材与学生的新型关系等有助于找寻农村小学教师教材适应困境的解决路径,促进农村、教师、学生和教材“四位一体”协调发展,提升农村基础教育改革质量。
