AcryloidB-72 is the United States Rohm & Haas company’s products. It is one of the raw materials for organic film coating of television picture tube. According to U.S. Patent Report: Acryloid B-72 is an acrylate-methacrylate copolymer. It has also been reported in Japanese Patent Gazette that ethyl methacrylate and ethyl acrylate copolymers are used as a spray coating for the fluorescent surface of a picture tube and that this polymer is equivalent to Acryloid B-72 produced by Rohm and Haas Company in the United States.
