The Wu Zhu coins, excavated in the year-recording tombs in Three Kingdoms Period, were cast withpoor quality and all the characters of Wu(five) and Jin (gold)on them were stamped on the rings. Manytimes were they excavated in coin vaults at the Central Plains and other place. These Wu Zhu coins didnot appear in the late period of East Han Dynasty. So their existing time should be the Three KingdomsPeriod. On the other hand, their casting system are not the same ones as Shu and Wu States, therefore,they ought to be cast by the Wei State. The author gave a brilliant exposition about the reasonableness thatWu Zhu coins were cast by the Wei State on the base of its excavation spot, mold and economic sltuation.
