严庆祥是近代中国机械制造业的著名企业家。由学徒成长起来的严庆祥,其思想虽并无体系,但对于中国重工业的发展而言,却是一笔宝贵的思想遗产。严庆祥经济思想的主要内容体现在经济民族主义、铁棉联营战略和企业经营管理这三个方面。经济民族主义体现为发展民族机械制造业,实现进口替代的强烈主张;铁棉联营战略深受前人影响,又具有技术导向的特色;在管理上,严庆祥推崇思想齐一的集权模式,注重培养刚健积极的企业文化。
Yan Qingxiang is a famous modern Chinese machinery manufacturing entrepreneurs. Yan Qingxiang, who grew up by his apprenticeship, has no system of thought.
