变异链球菌是人类龋病的主要致龋菌,在口腔内感受各种应激条件的变化,其致病性与其在各种应激环境中的耐受情况密切相关。spx蛋白是一种革兰阳性细菌全局性调节因子,在变异链球菌的应激耐受、生存和致龋过程中起着重要的作用。本文就spx蛋白及spx/α-C末端结构域复合体结构、非致龋菌的spx蛋白及其调控功能、变异链球菌spx蛋白及其调控作用等研究进展作一综述。
Streptococcus mutans are the major cariogenic bacteria of human dental caries. They are sensitive to various stress conditions in oral cavity. Their pathogenicity is closely related to their tolerance in various stress environments. The spx protein is a global regulator of Gram-positive bacteria that plays an important role in stress tolerance, survival and cariogenic processes in Streptococcus mutans. This review summarizes the research progress of the structure of spx protein and the spx / α-C terminal domain complex, the spx protein of non-cariogenic bacteria and its regulatory function, the spx protein of Streptococcus mutans and its regulation.
