编者按有许多文章不因时间而褪色,闪耀着真知灼见的光芒,然而世事苍桑,历史却将它尘封在某一特定的角落,使后人无缘读到。有句老话:“历史总是有惊人相似之处”,说明了“旧稿重刊”的必要,这就是我们建立这个栏目的起因。本次刊出的旧稿是著名建筑学家、清华大学教授,两院院士吴良镛先生,于1951年初在北京召开的中国工艺美术座谈会上的发言,当时建国初期,被称为“特种手工艺”的工艺美术面临市场衰落、外销停滞所带来的困难,作者当年曾在清华大学建筑系参加林徽因教授主持的景泰蓝图案设计活动,本文体现了一个建筑学家对传统工艺的认识。 由于篇幅限制,本刊发表时有删节。希望各方读者向我们推荐稿件。
