教育大革命以来,我校加强了对学生的劳动教育,并组织部分高年级儿童成立了米丘林小组,作培植作物大王的试验,取得了玉米,油菜、苏子等的大丰收,党委发出大种十边的号召以后,我校又以寸土必争、见缝插针的精神,利用屋后、场边、路旁,河岸的零星土地,广种大豆、芝麻、蓖麻等作物,进一步开展科学研究活动。经过二年多的努力,现在种植科技活动在我校已开花结果。叫土地听红领巾的话种植科技活动开始时,我们决定把办公室后面一块空地拨给米丘林小组,这块地的土质较差,当时有些学生听到要把这块土地给他们,就说:这地是“(?)地”,前年长棉花,最高的也不过一尺,我们能(?)出名堂来吗?。“怎么会试验不出名堂来呢!”老师鼓励孩子们:“我们都是小科学家,从现在起就要注意培养自己的雄心大志,只要有决心有信心,我们就能叫土地听我们的话。”老师教了“黄河水”、“跟沙漠作斗争”等课以后,让
