省编高中语文第三册教学参考资料里,对《张衡传》中的“大将军邓骘奇其才”是这样译成现代汉语的:“大将军邓骘对张衡的杰出才能感到惊奇”。我认为这个译文对“奇其才”的译法不准确。译文中的“对”,“感到”很难找到词义和语法上的根据。其实,在“大将军邓骘奇其才”一句中,“大将军邓骘”是主语,“奇”是谓语,“其才”是“奇”的宾语,“奇”本是形容词,在这里带上宾语“其才”,活用如动词,意动用法,
In the Provincial Reference Book for Teaching Chinese in Senior High School Book No. 3, the “General Deng Qiqi’s Talent” in Zhang Heng Chuan was translated into modern Chinese in this way: “General Deng Xiaoyan was amazed at Zhang Heng’s outstanding talents.” I think this translation is inaccurate for the translation of Qi Qi Cai. It is difficult to find meanings and grammatical foundations for “to” and “feel” in the translation.
