一·二八淞沪抗战,是爱国军队举行的一次民族自卫战争,同时也是武装民众自发参与的一场反对日本侵略的正义之战。在这场战争中,为维护民族尊严和国家领土的完整,社会各阶层、各行业民众自发地组成义勇军与中国守军一起同仇敌忾,以不怕牺牲的大无畏精神积极投入到对日作战、后勤保障、受伤官兵救护等战地工作中去,给日本侵略者以沉重打击,在中国抗日战争史上第一次显示出全民抗战的强大威力。
