注册入学使一批英语基础薄弱的学生有机会接受高等教育,同时也要求高职院校进行英语教学改革。无论如何改革,文化教育都应在高职英语教学中占有重要地位。文章通过对学生进行的调查问卷分析入手,阐述了文化背景知识的作用,并提出跨文化交际作为衡量高职英语教学效果的标准。
Enrollment allows a group of English-based students have the opportunity to receive higher education, but also require vocational colleges for English teaching reform. Regardless of the reform, culture and education should occupy an important position in English teaching in higher vocational colleges. The article analyzes the students’ questionnaires, expounds the function of cultural background knowledge, and puts forward the intercultural communication as the standard to measure the effect of higher vocational English teaching.
