如何提高英语教学水平,使广大学生更好地掌握这一门外语便成了许多教育工作者研究的目标。笔者认为,学生学习外语的行为同样受到学习动机的支配和调节,所以激发学生学习外语的动机是提高英语教学质量和学生成绩的重要途径。
How to improve the level of English teaching and enable the majority of students to master this foreign language has become the goal of many educators. The author believes that the students’ behavior of learning a foreign language is also governed and regulated by the learning motivation. Therefore, motivating students to learn a foreign language is an important way to improve the English teaching quality and student achievement.
