With the help of Yang Mingyi, a Suzhou painter, we could not help but associate his name with the smoky Jiangnan Water Village. Over the years, as an artist, Yang Mingyi is famous for his contemporary hometown of “Heng Fa Chu Chun Yu Jiangnan”. In the early years, bridges that used to represent the hometown of watermark woodcuts were superficially limited to the display of specific scenes. Especially after ten years of going to China, he also injected a thick nostalgia for his works, which not only made the language of ink painting clear but also implied profound implication and sincere feelings.
