美国大学的中文教学正在走向多元化。促成这种态势的因素之一是近年来越来越多有背景的华裔学生走进大学中文课堂,从而改变了以往以非华裔学生为主要对象的传统意义上的中文教学。本文尝试在分析和总结美国高校华裔与非华裔学生中文教学特点的基础上,探讨分别针对两类学生的中文教材所应具备的特色和现存教材的问题,以期适应日益多元化的中文教学的需要。
Chinese teaching in American universities is moving toward diversification. One of the factors contributing to this situation is that more and more Chinese-speaking students with backgrounds in recent years have gone into Chinese classes in universities, thus changing the traditional Chinese teaching that used non-Chinese students as the main target in the past. Based on the analysis and summarization of Chinese teaching characteristics of Chinese students and non-Chinese students in American universities, this paper attempts to discuss the characteristics of Chinese textbooks and existing textbooks for the two types of students in order to adapt to the increasingly diversified needs of Chinese teaching .
