危机意识是中国现代文学的精魂,有此起统帅作用的精魂,20世纪前半期中国文学不仅实现了现代化,产生了众多杰出的作家和作品,贡献出以鲁迅为代表的文学大师,也使中国现代文学一起步就于世界文学接轨.而20世纪后半期中国当代文学50年在特定的历史条件下,从紧跟政治到追逐商品化大潮,自始至终缺乏一个像现代文学那样能起统帅作用的"精魂".因而既未能出大师,也未能出精品.
